Healthy eating contributes to healthy living in a major way. For this reason, First& Main is dedicated to providing locally-sourced produce, meat and dairy options to residents throughout our high-quality dining venues. Our community chef and culinary team plans the rotating menus to feature different delicious specials each day – even using fresh herbs and vegetables grown in our own community gardens to create wholesome, nutritious options for residents.

At First & Main, we believe in simple moments made special, and you’ll find numerous opportunities for making memories around the table. Residents enjoy three delicious meals served daily in their choice of dining venues, including a fireside bistro and the Old Oaks Grill with sandwiches, salads and other “grab-n-go” items and the Deshler Club for restaurant-style dining. In each, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff that complements our home-style menus and hospitable community. Every meal allows for flexible choices so that residents can experience a variety of cuisines and connect with friends.

From seasonal resident cookouts to festive holiday meals celebrated with family and friends, you’ll be delighted by the many specialized offerings of our dining program. Residents find good company at First & Main’s weekly happy hours – appetizers, beverages and entertainment are served in the bistro. If an area is needed for private family celebrations, residents are able to reserve community spaces, with catering available for purchase. Best of all, the dining experience gives residents and their guests the chance to focus on spending time together rather than on chores and the stress of cooking.
